Transwestern promotes executive to chase Seattle business; Broker returns to CBRE Phoenix; Ionic Development expands executive team

Transwestern promotes for Seattle service expansion

Transwestern said it promoted Tyler Wentz to vice president of asset services for the Seattle region, where he will lead property management, technology and related operations. Transwestern also said Wentz and his team of more than 20 will support a portfolio spanning about 2 million square feet of office and flex space in more than 40 buildings across Seattle and Bellevue, Washington.

Wentz began his 11-year tenure with Transwestern as an operations coordinator and has advanced through multiple roles. He has managed properties for clients such as Pacific Oak Capital Advisors, Peakstone Realty Trust and Workspace Property Trust. 

Office broker returns to CBRE in Phoenix

Office broker Pat Boyle returned to CBRE in Phoenix as an executive vice president. He most recently worked at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as a managing director. At CBRE, Boyle will specialize in landlord representation, working with institutional and private owners of office buildings, the firm said. He began his career as an office researcher at CBRE in 2011 and became an office leasing broker in 2013.

Boyle has since handled more than 500 office lease transactions totaling more than 8.5 million square feet. He is joined at CBRE by account manager Erin York, who was also previously with Cushman & Wakefield. 

Ionic Development grows women-led executive team

Ionic Development Co. promoted Briana Pinheiro to partner, as the company expands its women-led executive team. Pinheiro has more than 15 years of commercial real estate development experience. She previously served as a vice president at Ionic and has led projects totaling more than five million square feet across New England, valued at more than $750 million.

Pinheiro currently leads deal structuring and related functions for Ionic, the Boston-based company said. Led by founder and CEO Kaitlin McCarthy, the development and consulting firm has worked on projects in multiple sectors, including Boston’s 24 Drydock Avenue waterfront redevelopment and a mixed-use redevelopment of the historic Theatre District of Worcester, Massachusetts. 

Sagard adds Southern California director

Sagard Real Estate appointed Bryan Russell as director of acquisitions in the firm’s Newport Beach, California, office, where Russell leads investments across the Southwest. The Denver-based firm said Russell will focus on industrial, multifamily and retail investments in Southern California and Phoenix. He has more than 10 years of real estate experience, including with institutional and banking-related transactions.

Russell worked most recently as a director at TA Realty, where he managed a portfolio of assets across multiple property types. He served earlier as a partner at Pendulum Property Partners, overseeing Orange County and San Diego operations, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions and asset management. Prior to Pendulum, he was an assistant vice president with Comerica Bank’s real estate finance group in Los Angeles. 

Odyssey bolsters Los Angeles retail operations

Odyssey Retail Advisors named Jack Nathan and Marc Huberman as vice presidents in its Los Angeles regional office in Culver City, California. The New York-based company said Nathan previously served as assistant vice president at KWP Real Estate, where he focused on retail properties. Prior to that, he spent six years leading development at Runyon Group, where he oversaw ground-up and adaptive-reuse developments totaling more than $250 million in value.

Huberman worked most recently as a director at Accelerator Advisors, where he handled retail expansion efforts by brands such as Vuori, Modern Animal, Pause Studios and Sand Spa. He secured the Los Angeles flagship location for the restaurant Momofuku, as well. He has worked with institutional landlords and private-capital firms on projects.
