London commercial property landlords and advisors urge govt to press lenders to be more flexible

Chancellor told landlords are doing all they can to help tenant rent burden but lenders must relax debt covenants and loan obligations if they are to help

The London Property Alliance, which represents Central London’s commercial property owners, investors and developers, has written to the Chancellor calling for greater pressure on real estate lenders to "grant property owners the flexibility they require to support British businesses and help safeguard jobs".
