Wages Now Growing Faster Than Inflation Across Several Metropolitan Areas

National inflation continued to cool in June, with the consumer price index increasing by 3% annually, down from 3.3% in May. While rising shelter costs continue to lift the overall inflation reading, growing by over 5% annually, shelter inflation continues to cool significantly, dropping from highs of over 8% annual growth in April of last year.
