Chick-fil-A Deal Was Jackson Area’s Largest Restaurant Sale of 2022

In the largest restaurant sale in the Jackson, Mississippi, market last year, the 4,500-square-foot Chick-fil-A at 685 Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland sold for $3.2 million. The all-cash deal earned a 2023 CoStar Impact Award, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.

The buyer, Chris Rosson, owns a variety of different Chick-fil-A locations. The restaurant was previously owned by CF Ridgeland Development, which developed the property.

About the deal: The Chick-fil-A, located in a northern suburb of Jackson, opened in 2022.

What the judges said: Chuck Gautier, leasing and sales agent with Kerioth Corp. and an alderman in Ridgeland, called the Chick-fil-A a “game changer” for the area. Bill Hankins, a broker for Cook Commercial Properties, said the deal was major for a small market.

They made it happen: Kyle Fant and Britt Raymond of SRS National Net Lease Group and Patrick Luther of SRS Real Estate Partners represented the seller.
