US Sees Growth in Hotels Under Construction

But Pandemic Could Slow Openings, Force Closures or Conversions

The U.S. pipeline of under-construction hotel rooms in May rose about 7% from May 2019, though it fell slightly from April numbers, which probably represented the highest peak since December 2007.
