StoneMor Partners LP, a Pennsylvania-based investment group, purchased the three Forest Hill cemeteries and funeral homes in Memphis through a court-appointed receivership. The cemeteries were part of a multi-state embezzlement case, which resulted in the previous owner being sentenced to prison for his involvement.
