Thanks to a new lease signed by Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., its corporate employees will now join together under one roof at the new mixed-use development space, TruePointe.

ADS is a corporate leader in managing and protecting water and is among the largest plastic recycling companies in North America.

The company has been housing its corporate employees across two separate locations in Hilliard, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. It is now the anchor tenant of TruePointe.

Its new headquarters boasts modern technology and collaborative spaces to improve efficiency and performance.

The lease earned ADS a 2024 CoStar Impact Award, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.

In addition to new amenities within the headquarters, its employees also have access to multifamily residential apartments, a hotel, restaurants and shops, walking trails, a lake and a dog park.

“Our new headquarters will facilitate ADS’ growth, as well as the development of products designed to capture, convey, store and treat our most precious resource: water,” said ADS President and CEO Scott Barbour. “In consolidating our corporate headquarters at TruePointe, and with the ADS Engineering and Technology Center nearby, our commitment to the city of Hilliard and Ohio continues. We have been proud to call Hilliard home for two decades, and we thank the city, as well as One Columbus, JobsOhio and Gov. Mike DeWine’s administration for continuing to encourage economic development across the state and central Ohio region.”

About the Project: The new ADS headquarters is LEED Silver certified and will follow WELL Building Standards. ADS is also developing the rainwater capture and reuse system for its new headquarters.
What the Judges Said: "This lease assures ADS stays in central Ohio," said Stephen Stuckwisch, senior lecturer of finance, The Ohio State University.

They Made It Happen: Austin Wathen, executive vice president of brokerage, Equity, was the landlord rep; Clayton Davis, senior managing director, JLL, and Brad McMahon, managing director, JLL, represented the tenant.
