Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Jonathan Cook as a director in its Manchester office agency division to grow the agency's presence across and instructions across the North West.

Cook has 12 years' experience in the Manchester office market and has worked with a number of notable North West landlord and occupier clients, including CBRE IM, Orchard Street Investment Management, APAM and M&G.

He joined CBRE in 2014, became an associate director in 2019 and then a director in 2022, according to his LinkedIn profile.

LSH has said its latest recruit will help to drive its office sector forward in Manchester, working alongside fellow director Adam Robson, who has himself been with the firm for just under two years.

Ryan Dean, national head of transactional services at LSH, said in a statement: "Jonathan brings with him a wealth of experience and key industry contacts, which will only add significant value to both clients and colleagues alike."

Cook’s appointment comes at a time of strategic growth for LSH's Manchester office, according to the firm, which says it has made a number of key senior appointments in the past 12 months. It employees more than 100 professionals across the UK.

Christiaan Flatley, head of LSH’s Manchester office, added: "Jonathan is a key hire for us and represents a major coup for our existing agency offering in the North West. With a growing pipeline of instructions from both landlord and occupier clients, we are adding vital strength in depth to our agency capabilities".
