Bridgestone Americas, the world's largest tire and rubber manufacturer, will begin construction on a new, 1.5 million-square-foot tire plant this month. The facility will manufacture large and giant tires used on industrial vehicles. The $1.2 billion capital investment is expected to create 850 jobs.
