Small-bay properties in these Nashville suburbs have some of the lowest availability rates in the US

As Nashville’s construction and manufacturing industries grow, many suburban and rural areas are running out of available small-bay space

As the population growth rate of the Nashville, Tennessee, metropolitan area has more than doubled the pace of nationwide population growth every year since 2010, the need for more industrial space in Central Tennessee has followed. But while developers have built dozens of giant distribution centers the size of multiple football fields, the smaller spaces demanded by construction contractors, auto repair shops and other locally oriented service providers remain in short supply.
