Investors in the Manchester office market have zoned in on the city core this year. Activity in 2024 has been dominated by mid-sized, centrally located assets below £20 million. Some investors are planning continued office use, either a comprehensive refurbishment and asset management programme or buying well-let, secure long-term income. Occupiers have also taken advantage of lower pricing and there are examples of developer purchases that have plans for conversion to the buoyant residential market.
