GA Smart Building has just transformed offices into a 4-star hotel in a Haussmann-style building located at 10, rue de l'Amiral-Hamelin, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, for Kerstone.
Conceived by the architectural firm Archipole for the shell and interior designer Michel Malapert for the interior, this ambitious project aimed to transform an office building into a 4-star hotel, giving a new lease of life to a historic structure in the heart of Paris's 16th arrondissement.
The new hotel covers 2,800 m² and seven floors, with a total of 65 rooms - nine rooms per floor - and three suites on the top floor.
The conversion of an office building into a hotel includes the creation of a basement with modern facilities such as a breakfast room, fitness area, hammam, sauna... An outdoor patio has also been laid out for relaxation.
Respect for the decorative scheme and the quality of the workmanship were paramount in creating a space that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, in line with the expectations of a demanding clientele. The quality of the workmanship was all the more important given that the building, with its communal areas, was aiming for a 4-star rating.
