NorthCap, the Leeds-based real estate adviser, has hired Max Pickering and Jonny Pickup to its team.
Pickering joined as NorthCap’s first occupational agent at the beginning of the month and brings close to nine years of experience to the new role of associate partner.
He previously worked his way up from apprentice to associate director at Sheffield-based Commercial Property Partners.
NorthCap says the recruit has been involved in more than 3 million square feet of transactions over the past couple of years and is a key member of the RICS ‘Matrics’ early career network South Yorkshire committee.
Pickering will focus on the industrial occupier markets from NorthCap’s new Sheffield office, extending the company’s reach, with partners Luke Symonds, Ben Hall and Richard Wright operating in investment advisory from their Leeds and London offices.

Pickup joins the team as an associate, providing agency, analytical and modelling support following 10 years at Strutt & Parker and CPP.

NorthCap’s main office is located at Platform in central Leeds, with satellite offices in London and Sheffield.
