Agents for an oceanfront mansion now on the market in an exclusive Florida neighborhood are seeking buyers who value structural sturdiness — and cars.
“It’s built like a bunker,” listing agent Chris Leavitt of Douglas Elliman said. “It is, you know, just an absolute structurally sound behemoth on the ocean.”
The nearly 19,000-square-foot custom-built house is known as Bel Viaggio, and it’s for sale for just shy of $60 million, according to a listing on Homes.com. The property sits on nearly 3 acres, including almost 200 feet of ocean frontage. It has nine bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and its garage can hold at least 10 vehicles.
At its current listing price, a monthly mortgage payment on the house after a 20% down payment would come out to about $390,000 per month, Homes.com data shows. But that’s actually a “rare offering” for the area, according to Leavitt.
Bel Viaggio is located in the Seminole Landing neighborhood, a community in North Palm Beach behind security-guarded gates. Leavitt said the neighborhood is one of a few guarded, oceanfront communities in the area. The house is also behind its own set of gates.
That level of security is a big draw for buyers, especially because the same kind of property on nearby Palm Beach Island would be significantly pricier, according to Leavitt.
Cars and billionaires
Other amenities include a rooftop telescope, hand-painted ceilings, a cigar room and a sprawling garage built to fit more than 10 cars.
Though any kind of buyer could be interested in the property because of the demand in South Florida, Leavitt said he sees one demographic that could really resonate with the house’s features.

“It's a car collector's dream,” he said. “The way it's built, the solidness of the home, and then the fact that you can park, you know, 10 plus cars in the garage, which is huge, because you could spend $200 million on Palm Beach Island and only have a two-car garage."
The listing also has an air of celebrity surrounding it. For one, co-listing agents Leavitt and Ryan Serhant are each reality television personalities in addition to real estate professionals. Leavitt starred in the only season of “Million Dollar Listing Miami,” while Serhant’s brokerage is featured on Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan.”
At the same time, Seminole Landing is known as a hot spot for the elite, including some billionaires.
For example, tech billionaire Larry Ellison purchased a property for $80 million in the neighborhood in 2020, according to media reports at the time. Other homeowners in the community include hedge fund manager Igor Tulchinksy and private equity executive Robert F. Smith, those reports said.
