Morgan Properties Names Dikos as Chief Financial Officer

One of the country's largest multifamily owners and operators has appointed an industry veteran as its chief financial officer.

Marina Dikos, previously Morgan Properties' senior vice president and chief accounting officer, will join the firm's executive leadership team and oversee all accounting, budgetary, treasury, compliance and financial due diligence responsibilities, in addition to developing corporate accounting policies and procedures, implementing financial controls and reporting, and overseeing the IT and HR teams.

Dikos succeeds current CFO J. Patrick O'Grady, who is retiring after 14 years with the company.

Established in 1985 by Mitchell Morgan, Morgan Properties is a national real estate investment and management company headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, that oversees a multifamily portfolio of 95,000 units in 350 properties spread across 19 states.

Dikos brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and the multifamily industry. Before joining Morgan Properties as a senior vice president in May 2021, she served as chief accounting officer at Balfour Beatty Investments, where she oversaw the accounting and finance departments of its U.S. division as well as budgeting, forecasting and audits. Earlier in her career, Dikos worked at accounting firms KPMG and Arthur Andersen.

In other company news, Morgan Properties made a series of moves within its executive leadership team. Morgan Properties expanded the role of Greg Curci to executive vice president of operations and asset management, promoted Samantha McQuown to senior vice president of operations and promoted Jessica Sachs to vice president of talent acquisition and development.

Coluccio Joins JLL's National Loan Sales Team

JLL Capital Markets has hired Chad Coluccio as a managing director with the firm's national loan sales team in Newport Beach, California.

In his new role, Coluccio will partner with Senior Managing Directors and co-leads of JLL’s national loan sales platform, Sean Ryan and Will Sledge, as well as Senior Managing Directors Tom Hall and Brett Rosenberg, to source, evaluate and execute performing and non-performing loan sales, other real estate owned portfolio sales and distressed debt opportunities across all property types. He will also collaborate with JLL Capital Market’s West Coast leadership, including Executive Managing Director Kevin MacKenzie and Senior Managing Director Greg Brown.

Coluccio spent the past 13 years in a similar role at Mission Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for closing billions of dollars in loan sale transactions on behalf of commercial and regional banks, insurance companies, credit unions, debt funds, private equity, hedge funds and commercial mortgage-backed securities special servicers. He has more than 23 years of experience in commercial real estate debt brokerage.

Cushman & Wakefield Makes McGrath a Managing Director

Charles McGrath has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a managing director with its capital markets team in Philadelphia.

In his new role, McGrath will help expand the platform, offering services through every stage of the real estate acquisition and investment sales process across all asset classes in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

McGrath joins Cushman & Wakefield from MRP Realty, where he specialized in the acquisition and development of land and income-producing properties in the Northeast. He has personally managed 9 million square feet of development and investment deals representing $2.2 billion. Earlier in his career, McGrath worked on the development and leasing of commercial properties in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. He holds a master of architecture degree with a concentration in real estate economics from Catholic University of America.

SRS Promotes Raymond to Market Leader

Britt Raymond has been promoted to managing director and market leader for the New York capital markets teams at SRS Real Estate Partners.

In her expanded role, the firm said, Raymond will guide local brokers through day-to-day operations as well as overseeing leadership, management and business development for the group.

Raymond joined SRS more than five years ago with Kyle Fant to expand SRS' national net-lease group in the region. Throughout her career, Raymond has closed more than $2.75 billion in commercial real estate transactions and has repeatedly been recognized as a top performer, joining SRS' $1 Million Club last year for her annual transaction totals while growing the company's women-in-brokerage group, SOAR, by providing leadership and guidance as well as helping plan its annual events.

WASHINGTON DC

Lee & Associates Recruits Binkowski

Eric Binkowski has joined Lee & Associates in Washington, D.C., as a principal of debt and structured finance with the brokerage's capital markets group.

In his new role, Binkowski will focus on debt and equity financing across all real estate classes around the country on behalf of sponsors, private investors, development companies, institutional owners and brokerage professionals. He will work with President Josh Simon and Prinicpal Pierson Kruetzer in the D.C. office.

Binkowski brings more than 22 years of real estate and finance experience, most recently as a senior vice president with Colliers. Throughout his career, Binkowski has worked in senior roles at CBRE, JLL, Marcus & Millichap and Studley, having executed structured transactions in the office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hospitality and self-storage sectors and completed financing in all aspects of the debt cycle, including construction, bridge and permanent financing.

Edge Realty Promotes Smith to Principal

Edge Realty Partners has promoted Warren Smith to principal with the commercial real estate firm's Dallas/Fort Worth office.

Smith joined the company in 2015 and most recently served as a senior vice president. Throughout his career, Smith has completed transactions valued in excess of $500 million.

In his expanded role, Smith will continue focusing on tenant representation as well as land acquisition and disposition transactions on behalf of institutional developers in the residential and industrial sectors, as well as publicly traded companies including Public Storage, Simmons, First National Bank and Texas Roadhouse.

Former Navarro Lowrey VP Launches New Firm

Mark C. "Bo" Paty has launched his own commercial real estate firm, Paty Realty, in his hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida.

In his new role as principal of the firm, Paty will focus on landlord and tenant representation in the office, retail and industrial property sectors in addition to investment and owner-user sales.

Paty has more than 40 years of industry experience in the South Florida region, most recently as a vice president at Navarro Lowrey Properties, where he was responsible for leasing out the company’s developed projects including the 450,000-square-foot Flagler Banyan Square mixed-use property. Before that, Paty worked with Ben Carter Associates and Paul Hanna Management.

Graycor Promotes Palys to Vice President of ESG

Michelle Palys has been promoted to vice president of performance excellence and environmental, social and governance, or ESG, at Graycor.

In her expanded role, Palys is responsible for developing and implementing high-impact performance excellence strategies and action plans to meet the company's goals, according to the firm. She will also lead the development and execution of its ESG strategy with a focus on sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, efforts across its business lines.

Palys joined Graycor in 2012 as a quality manager and most recently served as its business excellence manager. She holds a degree in civil engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez in Mexico, a master’s degree in construction project management from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, a DEI credential from Northwestern University in Illinois, and completed graduate studies in quality and productivity management at the Central Japan Industries Association in Nagoya, Japan. Palys is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Kidder Mathews Adds Office Tenant Specialist Jeuck

Amy Jeuck has joined Kidder Mathews as a vice president in the West Coast brokerage firm's Portland, Oregon, office.

In her new role, Jeuck will continue to focus on tenant and owner/user representation across the office property sector, including the leasing, acquisition and disposition of real estate properties throughout the region.

Jeuck joins Kidder Mathews from Newmark, where she most recently served as a broker and focused on tenant and agency leasing on behalf of a client list that includes Lewis & Clark Law School, Kolitch Romano Dascenzo Gates, Novogradac, MaxLinear and Wyline Networks.

Savills Grows Bay Area Team With Raymond

Kristen Raymond has joined Savills as an associate director with its project management team in the San Francisco office.

In her new role, Raymond will focus on strategic planning and execution of large-scale core and shell, tenant improvement, renovation and modernization projects.

Raymond brings more than 20 years of construction project management and real estate development experience in the private and public sectors, having previously held managerial roles with commercial real estate investment firm Presidio Bay Ventures in San Francisco, where she oversaw the delivery of construction projects for mixed-use, office, apartment and restaurant buildings. Before that, she delivered more than 20 capital projects and five ground-up buildings as an owner's representative project manager with the San Francisco Unified School District.
