Slowing Container Flows Point to Moderation in South Florida Logistics Leasing

New Supply and Slower Economic Activity To Place a Drag on Logistics Performance in 2024

Container activity through South Florida ports continued its descent in 2023 after reaching historically elevated levels in 2022. 2023 combined container flows through the Port of Palm Beach, Port Everglades and Port Miami are around 7% below those levels. In contrast, all other Florida ports have continued to see a rise in container activity.
