Ratings firm S&P Global added home goods and furniture retailer Kirkland’s Inc. to its list of the nation’s most vulnerable publicly traded retailers for the first time, a sign the coronavirus pandemic and increased e-commerce competition is affecting chains beyond those that sought bankruptcy protection in recent months.
