National property developer Godwin Developments has named Yuved Bheenick as residential development director.
Joining the team at its 26 St James’s Square offices in London, Bheenick will be responsible for "driving the growth of the company’s residential development portfolio across the country".
He will also identify and acquire prime development sites, overseeing the planning and design process and managing the construction of residential projects, as well as working with local authorites and other stakeholders.
Godwin said Bheenick brings a "wealth of knowledge" with more than 14 years' experience in the development industry. This includes helping to deliver large-scale, mixed-use schemes of open market and affordable homes.
Prior to joining the business, he held senior roles at leading residential developers such as Places for People, Vistry Group, Linden Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Simon Boreham, managing director of residential development at Godwin, said in a statement: "Yuved's extensive experience and proven track record in residential development will be invaluable as we continue to expand our portfolio and strengthen our position in the market."
Godwin Developments' residential division has a nationwide portfolio which totals more than 4,200 units, valued at £700 million. It specialises in construction built-to-rent, affordable and student schemes across the country.
