Boston Real Estate Market Hoping for Strong Economic Rebound in 2021

Total Job Losses Amounted to Nearly 250,000 Last Year

The Boston metropolitan area lost jobs in the last month of 2020, shedding just under 9,000 workers. In total, Boston exited 2020 with a loss of 250,000 jobs, an 8.8% decline year over year, according to preliminary figures provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
