Apartment renters have a plethora of choices in the Washington, D.C., area as summer comes to a close. Driven by an active under-construction pipeline, which has seen at least 12,000 units open in each of the past three years and at least 10,000 units open each year since 2014, the sheer number of units has presented renters with a lengthy list of options, depending on the neighborhood.
