After an onslaught of new multifamily construction in the past two years, it seems development has hit its peak in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, metropolitan area. Nearly 800 units are under construction, which is down considerably from the cycle high in the third quarter of 2018, when nearly 2,300 units were underway.
