JLL looks to Las Vegas offices

JLL hired 10-year Las Vegas commercial real estate veteran Travis Landes as the firm expands its brokerage business in the region. Landes joined JLL from CBRE, where he focused on office and medical office leasing. At JLL, he will specialize in leasing and marketing office properties on behalf of owners in Nevada, with a primary focus on Las Vegas, the brokerage said. JLL Managing Director Bret Davis said in a statement that Landes has several years of experience representing landlords in the region, “which continues to grow as companies look to capitalize on the labor pool and as investors/developers look to satisfy tenant demand.” Landes is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, and has completed transactions valued at over $600 million.

Ryan Bellows joined Newmark’s industrial capital markets team as senior managing director in Atlanta, as the brokerage looks to expand its Southeast profile in that category. Bellows will focus on industrial investment sales, portfolio aggregation, financing and equity placement.

Bellows previously worked in Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets group, where he specialized in areas including disposition of industrial properties and land, pre-development planning, speculative construction and build-to-suit project financing for clients throughout the Southeast. “His knowledge in the industrial sector will be invaluable as we continue to drive innovative capital markets solutions and expand our capabilities across key U.S. markets,” said Chad Lavender, Newmark’s president of capital markets for North America.
