Hotel REIT seeks OK to sell U.S. properties: Canada's American Hotel Income Properties REIT is asking shareholders to give its board the flexibility to move quickly on potential sales of its U.S. properties. That includes assets tied to a $65.2 million commercial mortgage-backed securities loan split across two deals — JPMDB 2017-C7 and BMARK 2018-B1 — with several of those properties trading in recent weeks.
