It's a busy time of year for everyone.

Wrapping up work projects before the end of the year. Buying gifts for family and friends. Making time to see said family and friends. Attending kids' winter performances. For any college-age readers working part-time while attending school, studying for and taking finals.

My point is, you're all busy, I'm busy, so I'll keep this short.

This past year was a lot of fun to cover. Plenty of breaking news, big announcements and ongoing stories to follow. Our podcasts in particular really took off. Make sure to catch our end-of-year and start-of-year stories that will be coming out the week before and after New Year's Day. They cover some interesting topics that help set the stage for 2025.

Thank you all for a great year. It's been great watching the hotel industry getting back into the swing of normalcy after some ... off years. I look forward to covering the industry in general next year, but specifically I look forward to getting to speak with you, over the phone, Teams or in person at conferences, all over again.

Here's hoping 2025 turns out even better than we hope.

Also, don't forget to send in your hotel Christmas wish list. If you need some inspiration, take a look at what hoteliers asked for last year.

My email is bwroten@hotelnewsnow.com. Put "Hoteliers 2025 Wish List" in the subject line. No anonymous wishes, please.

If I receive enough responses, I'll include them in my next blog.
