Poundstretcher prepares for CVA with 450 stores under threat

Struggling discount chain becomes the latest retailer looking to permanently cut rents and avoid administration

Discount retailer Poundstretcher has reportedly drawn up plans for a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) that will seek permanent rent reductions in around 75% of its 450 stores.
