Gerald Eve has expanded its London capital markets team with the addition of an agent from Cushman & Wakefield.
Gerald Eve, the UK brokerage that was acquired by New York-based Newmark last year, has hired Harriet Bantock for its capital markets team in London. Bantock joined Gerald Eve in mid-November, she said in a LinkedIn message.
Bantock will specialise in purpose-built student accommodation deals.
"She will focus on PBSA transactions in the UK and Europe with key recent transactions including the sale of Scape Dublin and over €600 million transacted in Spain and Ireland including standing investments and forward purchases," Gerald Eve said in its post.
At Cushman & Wakefield, Bantock most recently worked in student accommodation investment and advisory in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
She is a chartered surveyor who has experience in investment and the valuation of commercial and residential property markets, according to her LinkedIn profile.
