Brokerage Douglas Elliman has added a former NFL player to its team of luxury real estate agents in South Florida.

John Miller joined The Rose Group, an Elliman team focused on clients from the sports, entertainment and fitness industries. He specializes in investment properties for fixing and flipping in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-area cities of Weston, Southwest Ranches, Davie and Plantation. He is based in Davie.

The Miami native was a third-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2015 and started 47 games in four years with the team. He later played for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

“His diverse background and proactive approach make him an invaluable asset, enhancing the group's reputation and success in the industry,” Phil Rose, head of The Rose Group, said in a statement.

Miller earned a bachelor of science degree in sports administration from the University of Louisville. He also founded the John Miller Foundation to empower youngster through sports and education. The foundation organizes a free youth football camp, a back-to-school backpack and school supply drive, a Thanksgiving food distribution and holiday gifting tree.
