Global builder and real estate developer Gilbane Building Co. has promoted Heidi DeBenedetti to chief operating officer effective January 1, 2024, making her one of the construction industry’s top women executives. DeBenedetti, who previously served as regional president and chief administrative officer, comes to the position with 25 years of industry experience, including the past nine years with Gilbane.
