Fort Worth, Texas, nears million-resident milestone

Population growth has heightened interest of developers across all real estate segments

For the last several years, Fort Worth has frequently found itself among the fastest-growing cities in the nation. Current estimates have the city on track to hit the elusive million-resident threshold by 2025, as it adds roughly 18,300 new residents to its rosters every year. In Texas, only three major cities hold this title: Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, with Austin and Fort Worth trailing by an ever-shrinking margin.
