SRS hires veteran for Florida expansion

Retail service specialist firm SRS Real Estate Partners is launching a new office in Jacksonville, Florida, with a two-person team headed by Stephanie McCullough. “SRS has had a strong presence in Orlando for the last 20 years, and Jacksonville, a robust market with a thriving retail sector, is the next logical step for growth,” SRS Executive Vice President and Managing Principal John Artope said in a statement. McCullough joins the company as senior vice president and managing principal after serving as an executive vice president since 2008 at The Shopping Center Group’s North Florida office. She was named one of the city’s 40 under 40 by the Jacksonville Business Journal. A graduate of Florida State University, she is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Annie Lee O’Steen, a retail associate with more than five years of commercial real estate experience, also joins SRS from The Shopping Center Group; she graduated from the University of Alabama and later worked at CBRE. O’Steen will work with McCullough as they provide representation to tenants and owners.

McCabe, who joined the firm in 2015, will continue in his role as senior vice president. Before joining Majestic, McCabe was a partner and chair of the construction industry practices group at a national law firm. “Selecting Barry to lead the market reflects our commitment to not only the region, but also his ability to continue elevating our footprint there,” Reon Roski, Majestic’s president and CEO, said in a statement. Since its opening in 1996, the Atlanta office has developed more than 20 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space in the Georgia capital region and around Orlando, Florida.

Bartos served as an executive vice president for JLL and advanced to senior managing director, supporting office tenants locally, nationally and overseas. Previously he was a broker at Cushman & Wakefield. Over his career, Bartos has completed more than 15 million square feet of leases valued at more than $1 billion, including a 136,194-square-foot deal for Peckham for an inbound contact center with up to 1,000 jobs.
