Davidson Hospitality Group launched DH Creative, an in-house creative agency that is a reimagination of its marketing department, on Wednesday.
DH Creative will provide brand development, project management, photography and videography, and website development services, a company news release said. The new vertical will work closely with other Davidson teams, such as Davidson Restaurant Group and its design and construction team, to provide a “cohesive brand experience.”
“Through our years of experience and overseeing the development of more than 100 brands, we identified an opportunity to provide a service to owners seeking professional, yet economically priced, brand development support,” said Davidson Hospitality Group Chief Operating Officer Pete Sams. “We are proud to offer all of the same services that an outside agency does …. Ultimately, we’ve crystalized these services with the objective of delivering upon our promise of creating value for our ownership partners.”
Sams hinted at Davidson rolling out a marketing vertical back at the 2023 Americas Lodging Investment Summit.
"We have a substantial number of independent hotels, and the branding process of creating a name and a story — we can do that all in-house," he said in February. "The next vertical for us is formally recognizing marketing within the Davidson Hospitality Group."
