Atlanta-based owner, developer and operator Valor Hospitality has signed a deal with the state-owned Investment Corporation of Dubai to operate 803 rooms across four hotels in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
According to a news release, the hotels are the 288-room Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek; the 290-room Wyndham Dubai Deira; the 131-room Days Hotel by Wyndham Dubai Deira, and the 94-room Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira.
Valor also operates the Intercity Hotel Jaddaf Waterfront in Dubai, and elsewhere in the Middle East region, Valor manages the Four Points by Sheraton in Muscat, Oman, and two hotels in Uzbekistan: a Hyatt Regency in the city of Bukhara and the Intercity Hotel in Uzbekistan's capital, Tashkent.
Julien Bergue, co-founder and managing partner of Valor Hospitality Partners Middle East, hinted at more hotel deals in the United Arab Emirates.
“There are 65,000 rooms under development in Dubai, and working with our asset owners and leading brands to supply first-in-class hospitality options for business and leisure travelers, while ensuring a strong business model for both sides, is our ultimate goal,” Bergue said.
Valor now has a global portfolio of more than 85 hotels, including 25 in the U.S. and 32 in the United Kingdom, including four pipeline hotels in Portrush, Northern Ireland; Birmingham; Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and St. Andrews, Scotland.
Within its hospitality and leisure division, Investment Corporation of Dubai owns Kerzner International, and its hotel portfolio includes the 244-room Mandarin Oriental New York, 131-room One & Only Cape Town and 1,539-room Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai. It also owns and operates the Dubai World Trade Center.
