Real estate investment trust Digital Realty agreed to sell one data center portfolio and grant a controlling interest in another to affiliates of Singapore-based real estate investment firm Mapletree in a $1.4 billion deal, a sign investors could again be bullish on REITs specializing in this niche after setbacks last year.
