Anschutz Entertainment Group, the owner and operator of The O2 in North Greenwich, has called for US entertainment giant Madison Square Garden Group to withdraw its plans for a landmark sphere-shaped arena in east London, claiming it has produced "hopelessly inadequate" evidence to prove it will not harm local residents and the concert industry.
