The Reserved Investor Fund explained

A new type of investment fund structure has launched for commercial real estate

The Reserved Investor Fund, a new type of onshore contractual scheme which does not require Financial Conduct Authority authorisation, was launched on 19 March. This was introduced by the previous government as part of its review of the UK’s funds regime, in response to industry demand for a closed-ended investment vehicle for institutional investors to hold real estate investments.
