Infrastructure work is expected to begin soon on the $7 billion Bronzeville Lakefront mixed-use project near Chicago’s sprawling McCormick Place convention center, a sign that major projects are still moving forward despite rising interest rates and other economic concerns that have slowed real estate deals throughout the country.
