EYCO, the Edinburgh-based chartered surveyor, has appointed an Avison Young stalwart to its business space team.
Peter Fraser, who becomes a partner at EYCO, worked at Avison Young for 11 years, where he headed its Edinburgh agency team.
He also spent around seven years at DTZ before he joined Avison Young in 2013 and headed up NatWest Group's branch disposal programme in Scotland, disposing of more than 150 properties across six years.
Fraser has 23 years experience working in commercial property in Edinburgh and across the North and East of Scotland, according to his LinkedIn profile, specialising in offices and industrial.
He has worked for a variety of landlords, occupiers and public sector clients across these sectors. At EYCO Fraser will work on landlord disposals and tenant acquisitions.
Fraser joins a team of Neil McConnachie (managing partner), Neil Gordon (partner) and Amy Matteo (graduate surveyor).
Fraser said in a LinkedIn post: "The chance to work at EYCO, a forward thinking partnership with an unrivalled reputation in tenant rep and leasing prime office space was too good to turn down."
Other senior agency figures to leave Avison Young in the last few months include George Jennings and Adrian Griffith, who left for Gerald Eve in early December to lead its national offices team.
AY made four senior hires to its national offices team across three key markets – Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow – in December, reported here.
