Appointed general manager at the 264-room Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Originally from Romania, she arrives from the 202-room Hilton Tallinn Park in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

To leave the position of chief financial officer and head of group strategy at IHG Hotels after almost 20 years to become chief financial officer at online gaming firm Flutter Entertainment.

Promoted to director of development, Greece and Cyprus, at Hilton. A Greek native, he moves back to Greece after working in London, most recently as director of destination marketing and eCommerce.

Promoted at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to vice president of design, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Promoted, also at Rosewood, to senior director of commercial, Eastern Mediterranean and Caucasus.

Promoted to director of operations at the 471-room Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. For the last two years he has been in the role of director of food and beverage at the hotel.

Appointed director of operations at the Hotel Arts Barcelona, having arrived from a role with the same title at The Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai.

Named as general manager of 76-room Bournemouth Sands Hotel in Bournemouth, England, part of Daish’s Holidays, an owner and operator of coach-vacation properties. Gates started at the firm in 2010 as a bartender and night porter.

Appointed general manager of the 163-room Jaz in the City Vienna Hotel. It is a return to Deutsche Hospitality for Dorfer, who worked at the firm between 2010-16, initially as a front-desk manager.
