Top three fastest-growing municipalities in Quebec are in Montreal’s North Shore

The three fastest-growing municipalities in the province of Quebec are in Montreal’s North Shore: Mirabel, La Rivière-du-Nord and Montcalm, according to recently released population growth projections from the Institut de la Statistique du Québec for the province's 104 Regional County Municipalities, or RCMs. All three areas are forecast to grow at two to three times the Quebec municipal average compound annual growth rate of +0.5% over the next 10 years.
