Real assets advisor Cluttons has hired two partners to its team in the North as part of its efforts to grow its business in the regions.
Chris Weights joins the commercial valuation team in the North, to expand Cluttons' coverage in the North East and North West. Weights has worked in the sector for 25 years and was most recently the head of valuation at LHV Bank.
Nick Gregory joins the firm's project management team in Manchester as it continues to grow its project and building consultancy arm.
Gregory has specialised in delivering large-scale projects in areas such as higher education, residential joint ventures and operational living sectors.
He has previously worked at construction consultancy company Fulkers Bailey Russell, housebuilder and regeneration experts Lovell Partnerships and Capita’s real estate and infrastructure consultancy.
John Gravett, managing director at Cluttons, said in a statement: "Since launching in 2020, our Manchester team has grown from strength to strength, tapping into demand for quality property expertise and consultancy. These two new partners will cement our position as a trusted advisor for complex and high-stake projects.
"This summer we’ve made several key strategic hires that demonstrate our commitment to growth and providing first-class services for our existing clients."
Alongside these strategic hires, Cluttons has also hired three graduate surveyors to bolster the team, Aidan Botham and Oliver Oldbury, who will be based in Manchester and James Byrne in Newcastle.
The appointments follow Philip MacCabe’s return to Cluttons as client relationship manager in infrastructure and Duncan Maclver’s appointment as head of commercial in July.
