Koelbel, Bascom Group Sell 1,523-Unit Breakers Resort in Denver in Landmark Deal

Pensam-Led Venture Closes on Largest Physical Asset in Metro Denver, Largest Deal in Colorado History

Miami-based alternative investment and asset management firm Pensam Capital, backed by equity partners BH Equities out of Des Moines, IA and Wafra Capital Partners out of New York City, completed the largest single deal in Colorado history and the second largest single multifamily transaction in the U.S. this year with the acquisition of The Breakers Resort in Denver for a reported purchase price of $350 million, or approximately $230,000 per unit.
