Blackstone Sells SeaRise Office Tower in Santa Monica

129,000-SF Bldg in LA County Trades for $139.5M

Santa Monica, CA-based REIT Douglass Emmett, Inc. and sovereign wealth fund Qatar Investment Authority have acquired the SeaRise Office Tower at 233 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica for $139.5 million, or about $1,082 per square foot. The pair of investors bought the property from The Blackstone Group free and clear of existing debt.
