More than six decades ago, Dominic DiMaggio, a younger brother of New York Yankees great Joe DiMaggio, retired from an All-Star career with his sibling’s archrival Boston Red Sox and started a manufacturing company in Lawrence, Massachusetts, roughly 25 miles north of Boston.
