JLL Canada is bolstering its tenant representation team in downtown Toronto, grabbing an office group from rival CBRE.
Joining JLL is Rob Sweeney as executive vice president, Sean Cline as associate vice president and Kate Rizzardo as senior transaction manager.
"Rob and his team continue to push boundaries in real estate excellence and are true leaders in the industry," said Alan MacKenzie, chief executive of JLL Canada, in a statement.
The office team specializes in corporate occupiers for the relocation, renewal or disposition of office space in Toronto. Before joining JLL, the team completed more than 1,500 lease transactions equating to over 10 million square feet.
"With the office sector facing a critical period of change, I look forward to working with Rob, Sean and Kate to expand our business," said Jonathan Peretz, executive vice president, managing director of JLL, in a statement.
Sweeney had been at CBRE for more than 11 years, Cline for almost nine years and Rizzardo for just over three years.
"I am excited to join JLL and merge my team's expertise with their world-class talent, technology and market intelligence," said Sweeney in a statement. "The team's goal is to make a positive impact in commercial real estate, which perfectly aligns with JLL's mission for client excellence."
