Newmark has recruited James Bromme, a director in JLL's central London office occupier team.
In a LinkedIn post Bromme wrote: "Today marks my last day at JLL after 12 fantastic years. Thank you to all those who have supported me along the way.
"On Monday, I start my next exciting chapter at [Newmark] where I will continue working with occupiers across Central London."
Newmark, one of the world's largest brokers, has been expanding rapidly in the UK and Europe recently via corporate acquisitions and senior hires. In London, the New York-based brokerage has bought leading niche adviser BH2 and national adviser Gerald Eve.
Jack Measom, head of London tenant representation at Newmark, said in a statement, "James’ entrepreneurial character and extensive experience align perfectly to our current and future vision for our tenant representation business in London.”
