Peterson Cos., a Fairfax, Virginia-based commercial real estate owner and operator, has acquired The Shops at Stonewall in Gainesville, Virginia, for $82.625 million, or about $256 per square foot. The seller was Regency Centers, a publicly traded owner, operator and developer of shopping centers nationwide.
