February Hotel Performance Strengthens Existing Trends

Topline in Positive Territory Driven by Continued Rate Growth While Occupancy Declines

February marked the third consecutive month of occupancy decline for Canadian hotels, strengthening the trend. This has been mainly due to a pullback in transient demand or room nights generated by individuals. Transient occupancy contracted 1.8% in February, its fourth consecutive month of decline.
