Stark Enterprises, known as developer of retail properties, has closed on a construction loan for a build-to-rent project in Summerfield, Florida, expanding its recently established portfolio in the growing asset class. The deal comes as U.S. consumer demand has shifted amid rising housing costs that have priced out first-time buyers and pushed workers further from employment centers.
