Stockland to sell North East town centre regeneration scheme

Australian property investor Stockland has appointed Savills to sell a 14-acre site in the centre of Billingham in the North East where it has been bringing forward a town centre regeneration project.

Stockland Halladale assembled the site after buying a portfolio of town centre retail buildings in Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, from Stockton Borough Council for £16.7m in 2007. The portfolio comprised 57 units in seven blocks, totalling 170,000 sq ft.
