With a port as big as Paris on the Seine Axis, a city whose post-war architecture attracts many tourists, and a number of higher education establishments, Le Havre has undeniable assets. The city's successive mayors over the past 30 years have made the most of these assets by implementing strategic urban projects that place the city, and more broadly its urban community, in a dynamic mix of past, present and future.
